11 Stunning Black-and-White Linocuts Capturing Vietnam’s Vibrant Soul by a British Artist

Ever wondered what it’s like to capture a country’s heartbeat through art? I’m a British artist and printmaker living in Vietnam, where every corner—from Haiphong’s bustling factories to Vũng Tàu’s serene shores and Ho Chi Minh City’s lively streets—sparks creativity. My linocut prints are more than just artwork; they’re a love letter to Vietnam’s vibrant culture, everyday moments, and hidden gems. Through bold black-and-white designs, I celebrate the places and people that make this country so special, weaving my expat perspective into the local art scene.
I recently had the privilege of showcasing my work at the British Consulate General’s residence in Ho Chi Minh City, joining other British artists to bridge cultures through creativity. It was a moment that felt like a true connection between my two worlds.
