In the event that you’re in another country and you need to search for trinkets, don’t search for a ‘momento’ on the grounds that this means ‘moment’ in Spanish.
What you need to search for is a ‘memento’ or gift.
Example:
“I am going to give my girlfriend that cute memento.”
