Teton Public Park has some guidance for remaining safe.
They suggest that you:
- Remain 100 yards from bears regardless of whether you are in your vehicle.
- Utilize assigned pullouts while reviewing bears and remain with your car.
- Follow bearings from Public Park Administration Staff.
- Use optics or spotting extensions for safe review.
- Moving toward untamed life is denied by regulation.
- Try not to leave food, trash, or coolers in the open bed of a truck or the outside of any vehicle.
