Otters are known to be extraordinary swimmers since most of their species (13 altogether) live in freshwater waterways, lakes, and wetlands. They are individuals from the weasel family and are found everywhere, except Australia and Antarctica.
With regards to their build, most otters are little and they have short ears and noses, long bodies, and long tails; their most outstanding element is their thick fur. Otters have the densest fur among some other creatures from any realm. They have upwards of 1,000,000 hairs for every square inch in places.
