Avey was in 2nd grade when she lost her dad in mid-2020.

Avey’s mother, Angelia Bernard, told TODAY, “They were exceptionally close. Avey needed to go to the dance yet didn’t have anybody to take her.”
Exceptional events like this mean quite a bit to any little kid. Getting the opportunity to appreciate youth while being joined by a parent, especially by a dad, is beyond value. In any case, a few out of every odd youngster is given this honor.
