Many people heard that Australia would send an ice hockey group to contend in the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, California; they presumably thought it was a joke. Little did the Australian hockey group know at that point; however, the joke was truly on them. Throughout the span of 6 games, the Aussies scored ten objectives yet had 87 scored against them. The objective differential wasn’t even the ugliest thing about their presentation; those hockey sweaters were.
