18 Simple Stretches to Boost Flexibility and Feel Amazing

18. Front Neck Stretch

- Muscles worked: Sternocleidomastoid (front neck muscle).
- How to do it: Stand tall with hands on hips. Gently tilt your head back, feeling a light stretch in your neck. For a deeper stretch, place your hands on your forehead and softly pull downward.
17. Side Neck Stretch

- Muscles worked: Sternocleidomastoid and upper trapezius (side neck and shoulder).
- How to do it: Sit up straight. Use your left hand to gently tilt your head toward your left shoulder, aiming to bring your ear closer. Switch sides and repeat.
16. Child’s Pose

- Muscles worked: Latissimus dorsi (lats).
- How to do it: Start on all fours. Slowly push your hips back, lowering your forehead toward the floor for a relaxing stretch.

- How to do it: Lie on your back. Bend your right knee and cross it over to your left side, gently pressing with your hand. Switch to the other leg.
7. Supported Side Bends

- How to do it: Stand tall and slowly lean your body to the right, feeling the stretch along your side. Repeat on the left.
6. Single-Leg Forward Bend

- How to do it: Stand with one foot forward, back straight. Place hands on hips and lean forward over the front leg. Switch legs.
