Who can fail to remember that scene in The Guardian, where Vito Corleone is called upon for some help on his little girl’s big day, and gives Bonasera an extended discourse about fellowship while stroking a feline? Every little thing about it was amazing – particularly the part where the feline wasn’t the slightest bit in the content. A feline had recently staggered on the Fundamental Studios set, and chief Francis Passage Coppola chose to carry it into the scene.
